Who we are
Knowledge and Values brings together two kinds of voices that rarely share the same room, university professors and faith leaders, and asks them to think out loud together about important issues shaping American life.
Both scholars and religious leaders carry deep expertise and the trust of their communities, but the knowledge rarely crosses over. Knowledge and Values changes that. Each episode pairs a leading academic with a prominent faith leader to explore a single question from both angles.
The result is something increasingly rare: a conversation that takes both evidence and values seriously, can remain grounded without being preachy, and is honest about the complexity of any political issue. In a moment when public trust in institutions is fragile, Knowledge and Values is building a different kind of public square, one conversation at a time. We think that classrooms across the country are great places for this conversation to begin.
